Nico di Angelo x Reader Chapter 14

When you regained consciousness again, you noticed first, that you weren't sitting at the ground of the jar. You laid on a dusty, hard ground. Next to you, you heard Nico groan and wanted to turn to him, but you were that exhausted, that you wasn't even able to open your eyes.
You heard voices, some loud and deep, others a bit higher, but you wasn't able to understand any words.
For a long time you lied there on the ground, and just caught your breath. Even that was exausting. The voices kept talking; they seemed to discuss. Now you was able to difference them. There was a girls voice, she seemed to be pretty convincingly; although you didn't exactly unserstand what she was saying, you just wanted to do what she wanted.
There was also one, or maybe two, other voices, probably boys. Their voices sound normal, like normal teenagers. But the other voices.....
There were two other people, talking, but they didn't sound human. Their deep thunderous voices were similiar and different at once. A backround noise to all of this were constant roaring and hissing.
The fizzing was nearer to you than any other sound. It seemed as would hundreds of little snakes crwaling towards you.
Finally you had enough strength to open your eyes.
You were  in a huge cage. In front of you, just a few meters away, stood some giants. You wasn't able to tell how big they were exactly, but they were terrifying- or would have been, if they had dressed differently. One wore a ridiculous Hawaiian Shirt that gave you headache. The other one wore a skin-tight leotard. Baby-blue. Where was the fashion police when they were needed?!
Again you heard the fizzing and looked around. The giants feet were snakes, moving and alive.
Across of them stood three teenagers. A girl with tangled brown hair. After a moment you recognized her- Piper McLean, daughter of Aphrodite. Next to her stood her boyfriend, Jason, the roman one. Son of Zeus, or as he called him, Jupiter. They both argued with the giants.
The third one, a dark-haird boy, looked to you and Nico. His eyes were from a piercing green, they looked like the sea, the personized ocean. You winced. He scared you and made you feel guilty, although you were sure you had never seen him before. Except you had. Through someone else's eyes. He had been in Silenas memory, had been there when she had died.
Someone poked you. You startled, but it was just Nico. 'y/n' he whispered. 'Come on.' He nodded with his head away from the giants. You tried to shore your weight on your hands and to crawl, but you were still to weak. 'Place your arm around my neck '. You did and with his help you moved slowly away from the giants.
Percy and Jason attacked the giants. Your eyes were still tired and you wasn't able to follow their fast movements. A 'normal' human wouldn't have been able to do it- they moved faster than any human eye could. But of course, all of you weren't, you were all half-gods (or, in your case, half-titan).  You hadn't reallly thought about, that you were, in fact, not human. Normally, if someone weren't human you'd think of an alien, but you yourself felt actually like a normal human (Well, except for the superpowers and the dying-than-a-ghost-than-living-again part). You decided to think later about it - maybe at a point where your life wouldn't be in danger – and looked again around.
There were animal cages with exotic- and definitely magical- animals standing around. Some monsters were trapped inside of them, some weren't. You looked around and saw some leopards (hopefully 'just' normal ones and not some that could fly or had the evil eye or whatever) coming nearer. Piper had runned over to both of you. She held a horn in her hands and pointed with it behind the leopards. Pot roast shot out of it and they raced after it.
Suddenly sandbags rained all around you down. Piper tried to pull you and Nico to safety , but one of the bags caught her shoulder and she koncked out. Jason ran towards her, but then one of the giants threw a spear at him. Percy shouted something, and Jason turned around and summoned a gust of wind and sent the spear away. It soughed in your ears and everything became blurred in front of your eyes. You laid back on the ground.
All of once, you felt another presence, powerful and chaotic at the same time. Everything went quiet, even the wild animals. Again the giants discussed, not with the demigods, but with the new one. You didn't really cared- he was probably just an ally of the giants and would kill you with the same pleasure as the other ones would have.
Again you tried to get away, but it was too much and you felt back. Your eyes closed, you just felt the hart, dusty ground. It wasn't very comfortable, but better than standing or even sitting.
Then you din't laid on the ground anymore. You just noticed how the ground changed and that you were sitting – actually more hanging - on a chair. There was  cheering and applause from thousands of people to hear- people that definitely haven't been there before. The noise wasn't just loud – it was earsplitting - you wanted to raise your hands to your ears to cover them, but you was still weak. For some reason the new presence, the one who had talked to the giants and who was probably responsible for all of that, made you feel stronger, like if he was  pure energy – a giant, bright lightbulb that didn't just light itself, but also everything surrounding.
You forced yourself to sit up straight and to open your eyes.
Your eyes widened as you saw where you were.
You sat in bright daylight and looked down at the ancient colosseum of Rome – brought back to life.
